A key development shaping the region’s landscape is Al Marjan Island, located in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Master-developed by Marjan, the destination extends 4.5 kilometres into the sea and spans approximately 2.7 million square metres, representing an ambitious vision for integrated, large-scale development and destination creation.

Imran is responsible for strategic guidance related to hospitality asset class development, ensuring synergy and alignment across the Hospitality Development teams developing 34 world leading brands of Hotels & Resorts and 16 Branded Residence projects spread across three masterplans including Diriyah I, Diriyah II & Wadi Safar. In addition, in his role as Head of CoE, Imran leads the team consisting of multiple subject matter experts & asset specific CoEs appointed by Diriyah Company covering Retail, Retail Design & Development, Education, Parking & Mobility, Sports & Wellness and Cultural asset classes.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience across hospitality, real estate and destination development, Hafidh’s career has included involvement across 28 hospitality assets and 11 major developments. Today, he leads Hawana Salalah, Muriya’s integrated tourism destination in Oman’s Dhofar region a large-scale mixed-use destination bringing together four hotels with more than 1,200 hotel rooms, a 170-berth marina, residential communities, commercial and leisure offerings, and the 65,000 sqm Hawana Aqua Park. Drawing on both his wider career experience and his current leadership of Hawana Salalah, Hafidh will share perspectives on tourism as an economic driver, integrated destination development, regional identity, sustainable growth, and the long-term thinking required to create thriving destinations and communities.
